Your first session will include a detailed chat about your symptoms, medical history, and goals. We’ll then do a physical assessment to see what’s going on. From there, we’ll explain what’s happening and start building a treatment plan that works for you. You might even get some hands-on treatment and exercises right away.

MSK (musculoskeletal) physiotherapy focuses on issues with muscles, joints, bones, and soft tissues. It’s all about diagnosing and treating things like back pain, sports injuries, arthritis, and post-surgery rehab. As MSK specialists, we dive deeper into complex or persistent conditions to get to the root of the problem and create a personalised treatment plan.

Nope – you can book in directly with us. While some people are referred by their GP or consultant, it’s not a requirement. If we think you need to see someone else (like a specialist or for a scan), we’ll let you know and help point you in the right direction to the right specialist for you!

Everyone’s different, but many people start to notice improvements after just a few sessions. It really depends on the nature of your issue, how long you’ve had it, and how consistent you are with your exercises and advice. We’ll keep checking your progress and tweak your plan as needed.

We use a mix of hands-on techniques (like joint mobilisations or soft tissue work), exercise therapy, movement re-education, and advice on posture, activity, and recovery. Everything we do is backed by evidence and tailored to your individual needs and goals.
